and is planning to sail in Kroatia.
14.10.06 Karvalakki Race is the last race of the season. Alfa Romeo wins the
race by only one second! Estonian Ridas 35 Victoria is second.
17.9.06 Alfa Romeo wins the last IMS Race of the season by winning the both
starts of the day. This win also secures that Team Alfa Romeo will be the
Finnish IMS Ranking Champion 2006.
12.9.06 Team Alfa Romeo wins the Kopu Tuesday Race Ranking Series.
6.-13.8.06 IMS World Championships. The light winds of the Rolex Baltic Week
are very difficult for the competitors. Alfa Romeo finishes 18th with a
serie 9-11-24-18-9-18-OCS. The last 2 races were cancelled.
2.-4.7.06 Eurocard Round Gotland Race. Alfa Romeo finishes on 4th place in a
fleet of 68 yachts. The winner of the race is Ralf Aspholm`s Sinergia 40
Data Communication. The second and third places go to IMX-40`s Du Soleil and
Imagine. Alfa Romeo is fourth only 15 seconds before Grand Soleil 42R HQ
Bank.
28.6.06 Aroundio will be the new sponsor of Team Alfa Romeo. Aroundio is a

4.6.06 WB Round the Buoys was unfortunately cancelled due to heavy fog. This will have a negative affect in gathering all the points needed to win the Finnish IMS Ranking series.
27.5.06 Suunto Cup. Season´s first IMS race was sailed in light air. Team Alfa Romeo wins before Stella a Finngulf 37 and Siragusawa a Farr 40.
23.5.06 First Tuesday practice-race sailed outside of Helsinki waters went as expected. Alfa Romeo is first in a race without wind.
21.5.06 Changes in the Team, Pete Karto and Patrick Neuhaus will leave us to join other sailing projects. It was a pleasure to sail with them, thank you guys for the season 2005, it was perfect!
21.5.06 Tiit Haagma and Hubbe Andersson are joining Team Alfa Romeo. Tiit is a high calibre sailor who will join the Team as skipper and Helmsman for selected races. Hubbe will be “The Bowman”. Welcome guys to the Team!
04.04.06 Team Alfa Romeo will not defend their gold medal in the Finnish Championships in 2006. “We decided to take part to the IMS Worlds in Neustadt next summer. IMS Worlds are at the same time as our Finnish Championship unfortunately”.
20.12.05 The first sailing season for Team Alfa Romeo went in overall as expected.
The Team won the Finnish Offshore Championship, Espoo Suursaari Race and the
Finnich IMS ranking. For the season 2006 the Team has set as major target
the IMS World Championship held in Neustadt Germany. The season 2006 will
also include all the Finnish Ranking Regattas and Gotland Runt.
At the moment the boat is on a dry dock waiting to be upgraded and serviced.
